Paper Crafts
I love making personalized cards for special occasions. All paper crafts inspire me: scrapbooking, origami, collage, mixed media stuff, art journaling ... it's all so deliciously tactile! I absolutely adore going to the specialty paper section of an art and craft supply store, so I can lust after the gorgeous sheets of textured, patterned, brilliantly colored paper. It's as addicting as savoring the seductive syllables of "alizarin crimson" on my tongue, and imagining what wonders I might create, soaked in this lush, rich red.
